We’re about to talk about some Eastern Orthodox prophecy of what happens next with the Middle East. But first, we need to lay something out.

Where Things Stand Right Now
For decades, Washington has been pressured to attack Iran. And it was Donald Trump who—after repeatedly proclaiming the futility of Middle East wars to his voter base—gave Benjamin Netanyahu precisely what he wanted: an attack on Iran, an assassination of Ayatollah Khamenei, and the decapitation of much of the Iranian leadership.
Whether you support this or you don’t support this, a lot of things are in play now. This act has opened a pandora’s box that will never be shut again. Things are about to change drastically. Donald Trump has opened a door that neither he nor Washington understands.
The fact of the matter is this: that Donald Trump and the Zionists of the United States have killed a major religious figure. Washington—which claims to only serve America’s secular ends—has essentially started a religious war. Killing Khamenei is like someone killing the pope. They have killed the head of Shia Islam. So there’s that and everything that goes along with that.
Perhaps Trump thought he could somewhat contain Israel’s ambitions by joining them in this attack. Perhaps he and his team thought they could prevent this thing from getting out of control. Unfortunately, he and most Americans have great difficulty thinking beyond a few news cycles. Because something big has happened that looks like it’s been planned a long time.
The Gulf States, whom we have befriended and who have allowed us to have U.S. bases on their territory—these Gulf States discovered over the weekend that while Washington will do whatever it can to protect Tel Aviv, we’ve left the Gulf States completely defenseless. Now? Iran is striking our air bases and other points of interest in those Gulf States. Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar—we’ve exposed them completely, and they’re taking hits from Iran because of us.
Trump has destroyed America’s relationship with the Middle East. We’ve lost all of our social capital. We are about to be forced out of the region because of this. When we leave, Israel will be dominant, and they will be free to achieve their “Greater Israel” ambitions, as we will not be there to “contain” them any longer.
Economies will be more shaken than ever, particularly for Europe, as liquid natural gas imports will slow down for them, and their economies will be sunk even further. Not to mention the hordes of Iranians about to move in and further Islamize the Continent.
I know you are wanting to read about prophecy. We’re almost done. Hang in there a little longer.
Near-Future News Items
The U.S. loses. Europe loses. The Middle East loses. But Israel will come out on top as a big time regional superpower after this. I do not know what will happen to Iran. I have reason to suspect that we may see some sort of conversion to Christianity there in the future—though I do not know when.
There has been reports of IDF soldiers sabotaging various places in the Gulf States—thus exacerbating distrust between these countries and Washington. There is also discussion in the air that the Al-Aqsa Mosque—that Dome of the Rock that sits in the place of the Temple—could be destroyed and blamed on Iran amidst all of this chaos.
This is civilizational-level escalation. Unfortunately, we have an antipope who’s expressed that it’s “not our task to build a Christendom.” So that’s horrible.
And finally, we have this statement from former Israeli leader, Naftali Bennett: that the country of Turkey is the next Iran. He said that Erdogan was “a cunning and dangerous rival” and urged Israel to develop a coordinated strategy to counter the country’s regional influence.
The Iran conflict isn’t even over, and already they are chomping at the bit for Turkey next. Doesn’t that tell people anything?
And, of course, this leads to our discussion about prophecy.
Some Fulfilled Eastern Orthodox Prophecy
I am not a purveyor of Eastern Orthodox culture, though I learn more as the years go by. I had a conversation with Jay Dyer on Discord once. I’ve been in an EO Church during Tulsa’s Greek Fest. And I followed Roosh’s story of conversion with great interest. But aside from these tangential involvements, I am very much an outsider.
I do not pretend to know what the Almighty has in store for the Eastern Orthodox. Nor am I interested in debating its legitimacy with either their side or mine. But I do know that from this group are accounts of healings, miracles, and even prophets.
One such mystical prophet is the Eastern Orthodox’s St. Paisios of Mount Athos. This man was a monk who lived from 1924 to 1994.
It is said that before such events ever happened, St. Paisios foresaw the following: Turkey’s closing of the Bosporus, the collapse of the Soviet Union, the breakup of Yugoslavia into multiple countries, the withdrawl of England from the European Union. Paisios also foresaw a prominent and manufactured illness—and that during this “pandemic,” the Hagia Sophia would be converted into a mosque. He foresaw that Greece would have new ID cards issued for its Greek citizens. And he foresaw that the mayor of Istanbul—who was and is Erdogan—become the president of Turkey and keep tensions between Turkey and Greece quite low. (Because, remember, there’s often been historical conflict between Turkey and Greece, and the Turks even took a part of Cyprus in 1974.)
I find it interesting how different prophets and seers will have prophecy, but it will often orbit the region of that person who experiences the apparitions and messages. For example, Alois Irlmaier and his visions of Bavaria or Marie-Julie Jahenny’s prophecies for France. In the case of the Eastern Orthodox St. Paisios, we see that this is centered on Greece and Turkey.
Future Prophecies by St. Paisios
When Erdogan is eventually replaced, Turkey will start a war with Greece. This exacerbates everything, and it really takes World War III (if we are in it already) to the next level.
For some reason, Russia is going to attempt to cross the Bosporus Straights with a fleet. But Russia will be attacked by Turkey. However, Russia will defeat Turkey in that conflict. It seems that Russia is in some sort of a hurry to get into the Mediterranean, due to an outbreak of war in the Middle East.
(On this latter point, I imagine that Russia will be working to assist Iran with Israel, though I could be wrong. This is just my guess, as Iran is their main ally in the Middle East.)
Russia will occupy the Istanbul area, and eventually give western Istanbul back to Greece.
Then, we will see an expansion of this Middle Eastern war to Western nations. It will no longer be isolated to the Middle East. (World War III will be peaking at this point, I suppose.) Turkey will become divided like Yugoslavia. (I hope Armenia gets its territory back.)
Every Western nation that enters this war loses.
Greece does not enter this war, however, and they only keep an army at their border. They will have a famine for six months. But they will survive. The Bosporus Straights are put back into Greece’s control after that. Constantinople will return, and the Hagia Sophia will be restored.
God will eventually intervene, but it will not be the Last Judgement.
My Thoughts
I’ve been sitting on this prophecy for over a year, now. Perhaps this is news to us, but the Eastern Orthodox have known about this and other prophecies for years. And in fact, they await their fulfillment with great excitement. This is, of course, understandable, as Constantinople is their Rome, and the Hagia Sophia is sort of like their own St. Peter’s.
This prophecy prominently rose in my mind over the past 24 hours after hearing Naftali Bennett’s latest demonization of Erdogan’s Turkey. But then, later today, I caught news of a statement from Brigadier General Ebrahim Jabbari of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Basically, he said that Iran might launch intensified missile strikes on Cyprus.
“The Americans have moved most of their aircraft to Cyprus. We will launch missiles at Cyprus with such intensity that the Americans will be forced to leave the island.”
-Brigadier General Ebrahim Jabbari of the IRGC, “Iranian general threatens missile strikes on Cyprus”, Cyprus Mail, March 2, 2026
Cyprus is in play. World War III is escalating. Russia is involved in this. Turkey is beginning to be singled out by Israel.
It really does seem like the conditions are forming for the fulfillment of the St. Paisios prophecies.
Thanks for reading Pharaoh’s newsletter.

Mina Shohdy
